For whatever reason historically, or at least the past two years possibly three, I have had difficulties formulating a final piece of content. This is Life with Ken’s last article for 2023 and while there is so much that I could say, there is also so much that I don’t want to say, or I don’t identify as worthy of being expounded upon.

About 10 give or take 5 ideas just flashed through my head right now as I am writing this, as something I could leave you with as you celebrate the holiday season. What I am more concerned about however, and what I believe is more of a reality is, this endeavor is intended to blossom into a business. That’s the overarching thought on my mind: Life with Ken is a business.

I am here to help you. Life with Ken is here to help you; and there is so much more that we want to do. We are going to do it. Frankly I personally want to move on from this stage. The reason an article wasn’t published yesterday (Thursday) which is generally when we like to release this kind of content, is because I was depressed and wanted to give up. At this point wanting to throw the baby out with the bath water is a frequent thought for me. Sometimes I don’t know if this is the right thing or a waste of time and a foolish endeavor.

But what I do know is I’m going one of two places within the totality of my life, my destiny and or the grave. That’s it. And that’s true for you too. And you can’t be afraid to look death or failure in the eye. If this is Life with Ken’s last post and I end up taking a job that makes me moderately happy, and I stop trying to keep the lights on here, fine. If I validate the claims of everyone who has ever said I would never make it and called me out of my name and wished bad on me, and I prove them to be right and true, fine. Whatever happens to me, to Life with Ken, to you, so be it. Amor fati.

For me the transition from 2023 into 2024 isn’t about perpetuating anything I don’t care about. I’ve done that. In fact I’ve done that for so long it’s what has in part if not in whole inspired this journey. If you want to know about psychology, self-development, business development, perfidious family, friends, and the like, and being confident, I’m your guy and Life with Ken is your place.

These things aren’t exclusive in terms of the kind of content we produce, but they are informative in terms of how I use what I know to help you makes sense of what you know. The diamond in the Life with Ken logo is inspired by Disney’s Aladdin. Whether you’re a diamond in the ruff, a piece of kimberlite enduring immense pressure and heat, or are waiting to be excavated, YOU CAN BE FLAWLESS.

I declare and decree foolishness is not welcome in my life or in your life in 2024. And that foolishness will lose our addresses and get bored and disinterested with us, so that it will never want to make itself present in our lives ever again. That doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t have fun or enjoy ourselves. But your life is not a game. My life is not a game. Your life isn’t Uno. Your life isn’t Twister. Your Life isn’t Trouble. Your Life isn’t Chutes and Ladders. Your Life isn’t Mario Kart. Your Life isn’t Pokémon. Your Life isn’t Call of Duty. Your life and mine is not something other people can use or play with for their pleasure.

I am not knocking any of those games or franchises I am making a point. Your destiny is greater than your obscurity. Your destiny is greater than your confusion. Your destiny is greater than anything and anyone not in alignment with who you really are. You can be all that, and the bag of chips. That’s what you were created to be. It wouldn’t be in you if it wasn’t meant to be fulfilled through you. In 2024 tap into what’s inside of you and do that.

Fuck a hater, period. Don’t wait to die, you’re going to do that anyway. Don’t let a noun hold you back-because they don’t have your best interest at heart. Make your journey to the grave worthwhile and mean something. Allow yourself to accomplish something great with your life. Why not you and why not now? Let today be the first day of the rest of your life.

Have a great holiday season, and here’s to a prosperous 2024! Come what may we’ll all be okay.
