Financial Freedom is a goal worthy of pursuit. Everyone, in a world where money is a key influencing factor on your quality of life, needs to be able to stay, and remain financially viable, up until and through death. If you are alive and have the ability to make money, then you should be unencumbered in that pursuit. If you are part of a society then fundamentally it is impractical, implausible, and in many respects impossible to survive in that society, without a banknote proliferated around you in some way.
This makes what we do at Life with Ken matter because we seek to help you develop personally and professionally. Even though poverty is a normal occurrence it’s an abnormal concept. Taking other people’s resources, using scarcity as an indicator for value, hording profits, planned obsolescence, unethical banking practices, insurmountable, unforgivable, or difficult to forgive debt, and more are the byproduct of maladaptedness and corruption. It’s not necessarily your fault if your personal or business finances aren’t where you’d like them to be. It is your fault however, if you allow them to remain that way.
I like staying true to my roots and evolving and not allowing my past to dictate my future. Financial freedom is foundational to Life with Ken. This was supposed to exclusively be a financial literacy blog and website when I initially started. My first job out of graduate school was as a financial advisor. My master’s degree also lends itself well to understanding financial markets and data analytics. So just like you get spirituality, psychology, existentialism, philosophy, politics, health and wellness, and fitness, as influences in the content we produce, money and financial literacy are right in the mix as well.
To a certain degree and far from being braggadocious, it’s who I am. In many ways there is no Life with Ken without financial freedom as a topic. In considering what would be a good giveaway for our Newsletter I landed on a budget sheet. A budget sheet is a meaningful giveaway because it’s an instant value add to you. The budget sheet we give away is the one I use for myself. This amplifies your ability to trust what we offer and connect with this brand. It’s also an investment in you and your life and a demonstration of our commitment to help you be successful and live more confidently.
When you manage your money healthily you create the space to produce a high quality of life for yourself. You don’t need to have a lot of something to manage it well. In many instances, the way you get to manage a lot is by doing well at managing a little first. We have a whole course dedicated to financial literacy. We also dedicate whole sections in our other courses to the topic as well. It would be disingenuous for me to espouse a certain lifestyle and not share the practical steps to achieve it. There are few things as practical as obtaining a banknote and then deciding what to do with it.

We don’t aspire to be a paragon on wealth, financial freedom, and investing. I’ve lost and wasted quite a bit of money over the course of time. Not every investment made on behalf of Life with Ken has generated a return. The thrust of this as a cornerstone topic for us is that money is an objective part of life. One of the ways humans tolerate organizing together is through money.
It’s not farfetched to say that without cash there is no connection. If something is that important to your self-actualization and confidence, even if I didn’t have a relative background on the subject matter, if I want Life with Ken to be worth its weight in gold, then I need to be educated, articulate, and dynamic in and on the subject of money and finances.
None of what I share on the topic of money is ever financial advice. I don’t work in that capacity anymore. It’s important that you speak with your personal financial advisor on financial things that are relevant to your needs. The information we provide at Life with Ken edifies and entertains you on the topic of money. By doing so we hope to empower you to go forth and discover and make informed decisions.
From how you treat your money, to how you spend and save it. How and where you invest it, what career path you take, and how you prioritize what’s important to you. To what you choose to do with your money when you are no longer long for this world, matters and makes what we do here at Life with Ken matter. Our motto and mission of helping you live more confidently inherently must come with financial literacy. It’s who we are at our core, how I started my professional career, what I’ve developed skills for, and what can fundamentally help you move the needle of your life in the positive direction. Through financial freedom you can leave a lasting legacy, prolonging your life by impacting generations.
