About Life with Ken

My primary goal and purpose is to be of service to you.

My mission is to add immense value to you through my content, products, and services, to help you achieve true pleasure.

You’re probably wondering, “true pleasure what is this guy talking about”?

well, let me ask you:

On a scale of 1 – 10 on any given week how happy are you on average?

Do you feel as though life keeps handing you the sh*t end of the stick?

If you woke up tomorrow and all of your problems were gone, what would that look like for you?

Wouldn’t it be amazing to say you are a 10 every day of the week? Or that life deals you a perfect hand in every situation; or even better, that you live a worry free life?

To me that life is truly pleasurable, and that is what I am here to help you achieve.

Hello, my name is Kenneth Wyche. I want to see people grow and realize their fullest potential physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

Finding What was Right for Me

Not long ago my life was spiraling out of control. I spent the first quarter of my life pursuing the ‘American dream’ to no avail. In my first two years after graduating with my master’s in psychology I worked at over 10 jobs.

I could not find the right job no matter how hard I looked. I wanted a work environment that was supportive, engaging, and familial, but instead I got dread, dreadful, and dreadful-er.

At some point I had to look myself in the mirror and realize that it was not the employers, it was me. No environment where I had to trade my literal life energy – time that I had left on earth, for money, could ever satisfy me.

That’s when I discovered blogging.

But I am getting a little ahead of myself…

The Adventure of a Lifetime

The roots of my entrepreneurial journey trace all the way back to my childhood.

I remember the very first time that someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, my response was “entrepreneur”.

I believe entrepreneurs are creators, and I have always been in tune with my creativity. My first real venture into entrepreneurship however, was when I became an insurance agent.

While still in school, I became a ‘financial planner’; and during that time, I got really good at selling myself, but was really bad at selling insurance.

I do not believe I am a bad salesman, but I was definitely not in a position to be as successful as possible in that role. This is a good point in my story to mention the fact that I am a devout Christian. My love for Jesus is a big part of who I am and I do not like to hide that about myself.

I bring him up here because, after eight long months of doing everything I can, and my manager doing everything he could, nothing either of us did made me a profitable insurance agent.

Sometimes God will allow for things not to happen.

After using every dime I had to my name, maxing out and destroying my credit, and not being able to pay a bill without asking for help; I quit my role as an insurance agent.

After taking two months to regroup, spend more time with family, and finish my degree; the next big gig I got was as a busboy. From there (I did not last long) I had at least five other roles within the span of 2-3 months.

Eventually I landed another sales job in corporate America. No, I was not buying and selling stocks which would have been a dream. And my passion for psychology seemed determined to never manifest itself in a meaningful way. But nonetheless, at the every least, I landed in an environment where my character could further develop.

It was during this season of my life that I began to notice patterns of behaviors in myself as it relates to employment. I realized, that I am not made to be a cog in a machine. The way I live, my life is more determinant on who I am as opposed to what I can do.

After feeling passionless and hopeless for what seemed like an eternity, I started reconnecting with my creative side, by writing and sharing content on this website – before it became what it is today.

Blogger Style

I took stock of what really mattered to me and made the decision that, business and entrepreneurship was the only logical and practical way for me to live my life every day and be excited about getting out of bed in the morning.

I saw a compelling future for myself that did not fit my reality. I believed (then and now) that going into business for myself was the only way I could become all that I was created to be.

Blogging is how I was led to build a life for myself. Creating content that people enjoy and are able to take something applicable away from, satisfies my soul.

I get to create my own narrative, connect with other people, and achieve my goals and dreams. Blogging has given me the freedom to be myself, and that is invaluable.

I took everything I learned via my formal education, and from the school of hard knocks and curated an ideal lifestyle. I turned my compelling future into my reality.

I do what I do because I want to help others do what they want to do.

I live to show people that it is possible to live the life you dream about, and that you do not have to wait until you are 75+ to start.

In addition to writing, God led me to become a life coach. I believe we can accomplish anything with the right support system. I have had a multitude of setbacks in my life because of a poor support system. But in that same vein, I would not be where I am now without an amazing one.

As a life coach I get to be part of someone’s support system and help them grow into a life they once only dreamed about.

Freedom of Choice

My why is that I believe we all have a right to choose how we want to live in spite of our circumstances.

Growing up it always felt as though the odds were against me. My mother passed when I was 5, I was a social outcast, I was not the most masculine at the time, and I was clinically depressed.

It took me going to years of therapy before I was able to realize that life does not happen to us, it happens for us; and that we each have a say in how we experience what we go through.

I got tired of people trying to tell me who I was and who I was not. I decided that if this is my life, then I should have the most say in who I get to be.

Once I gained confidence in who I am, I became more successful, and my life became more fulfilling.

I want to help you experience the same type of success. By taking control of your thoughts, emotions, and external aspects of yourself that directly impact you, you can live in a way that is representative of who you really are. This concept is what I eventually my first book on: The Pursuit of Passion: How to Sequence your Life for Success.

Change Your Life for the Better

My mission is to help you have a breakthrough – a paradigm shift. I want to help you change how you interact with the world around you for the better.

A lot of times our conditions are not the problem, the problem is in how we think about those conditions.

Change your mind, change your life.

I want to help you develop a winning a mindset. A mindset that takes you to the next level in your life. The Bible says that God wants to take you from one level of glory to another, and from one level of strength to the next.

You are a spiritual being having a physical experience. The word “desire” means “of the Father”. You cannot get wet by the word “water”. What God/the universe has placed in you, is meant to be fulfilled through you.

My vision is to teach and lead millions of people around the world on how to make their dreams a reality.

Have you thought about my questions from the beginning? What does your dream life look like to you?

I want to help you get there because I know what it is like to live a life out of alignment with who you really are. Once I found a way to live a life worth living I never wanted to turn back.

In a car, the front windshield is larger than the review mirror. In our lives, what is ahead of us is better than what is behind us.

I constantly encourage people to never be afraid to share their perspective, and to expand their capacity for new information.

I’ve always believed, that we should never say no to ourselves. Every day I am learning how to better live out my life’s calling by staying committed to helping others.

Well, that’s my story… Now I would like to know yours!
