I graduated from college with my master’s degree in Applied Social and Community Psychology in 2019. In school I studied mental health and the consequences of various individual interests and influences on organizations. I was straight lace. I wanted to do my part to make sure things were done right, and I wanted to make sure that things were done right to me.
In that process what I didn’t account for was the intentions of others. I’m not one to blame my plight on others however, what I will say is what’s more important than how others treat you, is how you respond. I don’t think in hindsight I responded too well to some of the fortunes and misfortunes of my life. That being the case I do believe that I responded in a way that reflected what I believed in those moments as a Christian.
