It’s said that passion is a poor person’s career. Passion has two definitions: strong and barely controllable emotion; and the suffering and death of Jesus. I find this to be interesting because when you talk about passion with someone, an average person will probably describe their passion as something they do for work, or a hobby, or a strongly held belief, almost anything else other than what the word really means.
Words shape our reality because each word has a definition that explains the purpose of that word for the purpose of helping us better understand and get through life. If you didn’t have words for certain things you may find it difficult to interact with them. What happens when you don’t understand or misinterpret a word is in essence you distort the fabric of reality. You appropriate a meaning to something that doesn’t mean that based on how society understands that concept.
