How to Stay on Top of Your Schedule

Sometimes things can just get out of hand. Sometimes life will move quicker than you. One moment you’ll be checking off all the boxes on your to-do list, the next, you end up losing the to-do list being so preoccupied trying to do the list. When this happens you may try to get back on track the next day, but with a new day comes new responsibilities. Now you are playing from behind trying to do everything at the same time. When life gets busier than expected you have a choice to either meet the moment or lose to it.

Meeting the moment looks like being determined to get things back on track. Losing to the moment looks like allowing this type of dysfunction to continue to the point where you are overwhelmed, and things are out of control. The effects of this can manifest themselves in your life in various ways. Having too much responsibility at one time and not managing it well can lead to depression and anxiety, may cause you to burnout, neglect yourself, friends, and family, or lead to drug and or alcohol abuse.
